A few of us from HOS were inspired by Pup and Punter getting 100s today so we’ve decided to go watch the Melbourne Stars vs. Perth Scorchers tonight at the MCG. For all you internationals that think Cricket is boring (I’m looking at you Moby) here is your chance to be proven wrong.

Game starts at 7pm, but we’re planning on getting there at 6.30pm to get some seats.
Tickets will be about $20 (not sure exactly), just buy your own at the gate and then contact Timill (0400 875 532) to find out where we’re sitting. Feel free to bring whoever you want, everyone is welcome.

After the AFDA recently announced the Head Coach for the Australian Mixed Team we thought we should pay homage to the HOS members who will be coaching at various World Championships next year.

HOS went to Ballarat over the weekend for their first event of the season. With so much recruiting done over the off-season the focus of the camp was to teach all the new members how we play and to set the scene for the upcoming season.

Smokey Spires took out the first ever HOS Mens League with a 5 point win over Sharpened Knives.

Well done to Dave Lockhart who captained his team to victory. It was a hard fought game with both teams giving everything on the field. We look forward to another season of Mens League happening in 2012.
